A periodic review of the insulation of industrial plant and equipment protects against interference and accidents. The preventive maintenance detects damage or premature aging of insulation by changing the insulation properties:
• Insulation measurement using a pre-programd duration
• Determination of PI and DAR for the determination of the insulation quality with little influence of the current temperature
• Comparison with earlier saved measurements
