The Joy-Pi Advanced is the latest member of the very successful “Joy-Pi Family” by Joy-it. It further explains the concept of a Raspberry Pi-based central unit for learning micro-controller programming and has grown considerably in scope and possibilities. In this way, it is available as an ideal, multifunctional basis not only for students, students and apprentices but also for experienced developers. Thanks to its compatibility with a wide range of controllers, including Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pi pico, Arduino Nano, BBC micro:bit and NodeMCU ESP32, you can easily and quickly access your preferred platform. Moreover, the Joy-Pi Advanced offers more than 30 stations, lessons and modules (39 built-in sensors & modules), which offer you an unlimited number of options to realize your projects. With the in-house learning center, you can not only improve your skills, but also create new projects. The Learning Center offers a wealth of information and tutorials that guide you step by step through your projects. The Joy-Pi Advanced features an intelligent switch that allows expanded use of the available pins. A total of three switch units are integrated, each equipped with 12 separate switches, which provide precise control of the connected sensors and modules. This system solves the known problem of the limited number of pins that occurs with conventional microcontrollers. The switch units allow you to operate a variety of sensors and modules in parallel by switching them on and off individually. This simulates multiple pin assignments that allow you to take full advantage of your projects without compromising functionality. The open concept of these switches now also simplifies the switching on of external components that are necessary for in-house developments. Another new feature is the variable voltage range between 2-11 volts, which can be adjusted continuously and individually. Combining innovative adapter boards and the micro:bit slot ensures seamless compatibility with a wide range of microcontrollers such as Raspberry Pi pico, NodeMCU ESP32, micro:bit and Arduino Nano. The specially developed adapter boards are designed so that they are perfectly co-ordinated with the respective micro-controller. By plugging the microcontroller into the appropriate adapter board and the subsequent insertion into the micro:bit slot, the Joy-Pi Advanced becomes compatible quickly and easily with the different microcontrollers. This enables seamless integration of your preferred platform and the ability to combine the strengths of the different microcontrollers in your projects.
