The VOLTCRAFT FM-200 Moisture meter Building moisture reading range 0.2 up to 2 vol% Wood moisture reading range 6 up to 44 vol% is a robust and precise measuring device for determining the moisture in wood and construction material like plaster, floor etc. Two measuring ranges for construction materials and wood guarantee a high accuracy. Bar scale and direct value display make the reading easier.
The plug gauges are wear and tear parts and can be exchanged. The battery-operated measuring device shows the degree of humidity on an LC display as a bar diagram or value. A function and battery test is integrated in the protective cap.

Comments
The wood humidity measured value in percent is the water content in the wood sample in relation to dry mass. Dry mass differs depending on wood type (wood specific weight). With this measuring device is, however, an average value of the most common types of wood for the specific wood weight used a simple comparison measurement. For a comparative measurements, e.g. for control of the drying process, this measuring principle are adequate.
