True RMS industrial multimeter from VOLTCRAFT®. Sturdy, reliable, well-equipment, ergonomic shape, safe – these are the attributes that describe this professional multimeter. It also has number of safety features. The patented casing only allows you to open it to change the battery and the fuse only when the device has been disconnected from all test leads. At input voltages from 30 V a warning symbol appears in the display. The multimeter boasts a number of safety features: robust housing with soft rubber protection, 1000 V high-performance fuses, a warning sound when the test leads are connected incorrectly and impedance switching, which reduces input resistance at the touch of a button to avoid measurement errors caused by stray voltages. An opto-electronic interface for the transmission and analysis of data on the computer is included in the series equipment. The device is designed for measurements in the overvoltage category CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V; approved and tested according to EN-61010. The internal memory stores up to 1000 readings. Temperature, comparison and duty cycle measurements complete the specification.

The shock-proof device features a composite enclosure including a protective rubber layer. And the rubber-coating also provides lots of grip. A stand on the rear side lets you place the multimeter in a way that allows you to read the display, keeping your hands free for taking readings.
